1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Aura Recovery ("App"), you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Md Nasim Sheikh (nasimstg), operating as SoftexForge ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App. Aura Recovery addresses sensitive topics including substance use disorders, alcohol dependency, gambling addiction, and pornography addiction. The App is not intended for, and may not be used by, individuals under the age of 18.
By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
3. Description of Service
Aura Recovery is a mobile application designed to support individuals in their personal recovery journey from addictive habits and behaviors. The App provides:
- Habit and sobriety tracking — streak timers, check-in logging, relapse recording
- Daily journaling — mood, energy, and craving logging
- SOS Panic Mode — guided breathing, grounding techniques, and personal motivation reminders
- Health and progress analytics — physiological milestones, time reclaimed, cost savings calculators
- 30-Day Wait List — impulse purchase delay tool
- Companion system — customizable animated mascot with gamified rewards
- In-app shop — cosmetic items purchasable with Sparks (in-app currency)
- Data backup — local export and import of your personal recovery data
The App is an offline-first application. All personal data is stored locally on your device. No account creation is required.
4. Important Medical and Health Disclaimer

AURA RECOVERY IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE, MEDICAL SERVICE, HEALTHCARE PROVIDER, OR SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL TREATMENT. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a replacement for professional medical supervision during withdrawal.
If you are dealing with a serious addiction — particularly to alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or other substances — withdrawal can be medically dangerous and life-threatening. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before stopping use.
The breathing exercises, grounding techniques, and affirmations provided in SOS Panic Mode are supportive tools only. They are not clinical interventions.
🚨 Emergency Situations
If you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency, mental health crisis, or suicidal ideation, call your local emergency services immediately (Bangladesh: 999 | or your local emergency number) or seek emergency care. The App is not an emergency service.
We make no representations or warranties that use of the App will result in recovery from addiction or cessation of any habit. Recovery is a personal journey that may require professional medical, psychological, or social support.
5. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses
By using the App, you agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of the App
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App, including the biometric lock
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App
- Use the App for commercial purposes without our express written permission
- Sell, resell, license, or sublicense access to the App
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App
6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
6.1 Aura Pro
Aura Recovery offers premium features through "Aura Pro", available via:

aura_pro_lifetime): One-time non-consumable purchase granting permanent Pro access
Both products are processed through Google Play Billing. Prices are displayed in the App and are subject to change.
6.2 Billing & Auto-Renewal
All purchases are processed by Google Play (Google LLC) and RevenueCat, Inc. The monthly subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
6.3 Managing and Cancelling Subscriptions
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain Pro access until the end of the paid period.
6.4 Refund Policy
Google Play Refunds: Subject to Google Play's refund policy (typically 48 hours for the first purchase of a subscription in a given app).
Developer Refunds: For refund requests outside of Google Play's window, contact us at contact@softexforge.io within 7 days of purchase with your order number. Refunds for lifetime purchases are generally not issued except in exceptional circumstances.
No Refunds For: Changes to in-app features; disagreement with these Terms if you have already used Pro features.
6.5 In-App Currency (Sparks)
"Sparks" is an in-app virtual currency earned through daily check-ins, milestones, and quests. Sparks have no real-world monetary value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for real money, may be lost if you reset your data or uninstall the App, and are not refundable.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, graphics, mascot characters, animations, text, and code, is owned by Md Nasim Sheikh (nasimstg) (SoftexForge) and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial recovery purposes only.
Any personal data you enter into the App (journal entries, habit records, etc.) belongs to you. You grant us no rights to that content, as it is stored exclusively on your device.
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at aura.softexforge.io/privacy, and incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services for purchase processing:
We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services.
10. Data Backup and Loss
Because Aura Recovery is a device-local application, you are solely responsible for backing up your data. We strongly recommend regularly using the Export feature in Settings.
We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from uninstalling the App, device loss, damage, theft, or factory reset, software failures or corruption, failure to create backups, or operating system updates.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Md Nasim Sheikh (nasimstg) (SOFTEXFORGE) BE LIABLE FOR any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or personal injury. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10.00, whichever is greater.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Md Nasim Sheikh (nasimstg) (SoftexForge) from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.
13. Termination
You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the App and ceasing all use. Uninstalling the App does not entitle you to any refund of purchases made.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
In the event of any dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting us at contact@softexforge.io. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days. If informal resolution fails, any legal action shall be brought in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Bangladesh.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
15. Google Play Additional Terms
- These Terms are between you and us, not Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Google has no obligation to furnish maintenance and support services for the App.
- In the event of any intellectual property infringement claim, Google is not responsible for its investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and displaying an in-app notice on the next App launch (where feasible). Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
17. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
